24 October 2020, Saturday (9.00AM - 1.00PM)

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND THIS COURSE?

With growing awareness about environmental, social and economic challenges, more companies are putting sustainability at the heart of corporate strategy. However, making this change is not easy and sustainability practitioners often face pressure and push back from their stakeholders. Yet customers across the wider society are demanding higher accountability and transparency from business, NGOs and governments. In short, from all who provide the products and services we pay for. At the same time, these organisations must frequently deal with internal resistance and compliance requirements in order to stay relevant in the marketplace.

Sustainability Reporting is a skill that helps:

  • the organisation present, communicate and tell its ‘green’ action story effectively

  • top management drive the sustainability agenda.

This half-day programme is designed by and for sustainability practitioners. Apart from the technical requirements for sustainability reporting, do we pay attention to the language, the report writing skills and the process of producing the report? This programme looks at how to add value to sustainability reporting to make the process a fruitful journey for all stakeholders.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • People who are responsible for producing sustainability reports

  • Sustainability practitioners

  • All those interested in promoting the sustainability

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

  • Understanding and applying the key elements of sustainability report writing

  • Learn from good practices and other practitioners how to integrate SDGs, Bursa requirements and GRI guidelines into sustainability reports
